All Ages – Beginners to Advanced
At Grosse Pointe Music Academy, we welcome students of all ages and skill levels. Our current students range from 1 year old to many students in their 60’s and 70’s. We pride ourselves on offering personalized music lessons that cater to each student’s interests and goals, ensuring that music is a rewarding experience for everyone.
Private & Group Lessons
We recognize that each student is unique, and thus requires a personalized approach to learning. At Grosse Pointe Music Academy, we offer both private and group music lessons to cater to individual learning styles. Some students thrive in the interactive and motivating environment of group sessions, while others prefer the focused attention of one-on-one lessons. Additionally, as students become more advanced, private lessons become necessary to master the advanced techniques of an instrument or voice. We encourage our students to select the learning style that best suits their needs and preferences.
Regular Concerts and Recitals
At Grosse Pointe Music Academy, we believe that performance experience is crucial to building a student’s confidence and musical abilities. That’s why we offer regular recitals and concerts at least twice a year, with venues located close to each location for easy accessibility. Additionally, our students have the opportunity to participate in music festivals, competitions, and workshops to further develop their skills and gain valuable performance experience.
Early Childhood Music Program
At Grosse Pointe Music Academy, we offer an Early Childhood Music Program that introduces children to the basics of music from birth in a fun and supportive group environment. Our program is designed to build a strong foundation of musical skills and understanding that will prepare children for success in private lessons later on. We believe that starting music education at a young age can have a lasting positive impact on a child’s development and overall wellbeing.
