Please be generous and bring your non-perishable food items to help stock up a local food bank. If there is even one can or box that you can spare it will certainly be used to help feed an human being in need.
Our food donations will be given to Crosseroads of Michigan.
Crossroads is a social service outreach agency with two locations in Detroit. Founded in 1971, Crossroads exists to support the community at large by providing emergency assistance, advocacy, and counseling to anyone in need.
Acting in partnership with many other agencies, parishes, hospitals, companies and organizations in the metro area, Crossroads offers assistance in the form of a hand-up. We work with our clients to meet their immediate needs and help them assess their situations to lessen the likelihood of future problems. Our efforts are funded by foundations, individuals, and friends who are committed to bringing hope to those living on the edge of despair… Donations of time, talent, and resources are always welcome. The Grosse Pointe Music Academy spring and summer recitals give students the opportunity to showcase what they’ve learned in lessons to their family and friends. Students at the Grosse Pointe Music Academy are strongly encouraged to perform in these recitals so that they will be accustomed to giving performances. Not all musicians will necessarily take up performance as their main area of study but we still encourage all students who are ready to play something.
Grosse Pointe Music Academy has two location in the Southeastern Michigan, Metro-Detroit area. We currently offer lessons from beginning to advanced play for instrumental and vocal music. We have teachers who teach a range of styles and will tailor lessons to your individual needs. Adults are as welcome as children are at our school.
